KEEPING YOUR CHILD SAFE

The safety and wellbeing of our students is absolutely paramount here at Mendip Performing Arts Academy in Evercreech, Somerset.

All of our teachers and volunteers are Enhanced DBS checked, we are fully insured and we have a health and safety policy in place to ensure a supportive and safe environment for staff and students alike.

Principal Rosie is also first aid trained.

If you ever have any concerns, please don't hesitate to put this in writing to the Principal at: MendipPerformingArts@gmail.com

SAFEGUARDING

We have a safeguarding policy on file that can be viewed at any time by a parent or carer of one of our students.  Please speak to one of our staff or email mendipperformingarts@gmail.com for more info.

Parents and carers are more than welcome to stay and observe classes at any time - we have an 'open door' policy to all parents and carers.

The Mendip Performing Arts Academy is not a childcare facility, and parents still maintain responsibility for their child whilst the child is attending classes.

REGISTRATION

As part of your child's first taster session with us, we'll ask you to fill out a registration form that will be stored in line with data protection regulations, and the details will only be used in relation to your child's prospective or current place at the academy.

HEALTH & SAFETY

We expect all students to adhere to our code of conduct at all times, and have a health and safety policy which can be viewed by the parent or carer of one of our students.  Please speak to one of our staff or email mendipperformingarts@gmail.com for more info.

We have the appropriate liability insurance, and our certificate to confirm this can be viewed on request.
