MENDIP MINIS (AGE 6-8)

Saturday - Evercreech Village Hall.

Mendip Minis is a warm, friendly introduction to performing arts, designed especially for children aged 6–8 — including those who may be a little shy or lacking confidence.

Each session is gentle, playful and encouraging, helping children grow in confidence while exploring singing, dance and drama in a fun, supportive environment. Classes are carefully structured into short activities to keep things fresh, engaging and age-appropriate.

​

Through singing, children explore new songs, rhythm and vocal sounds. In dance, they experiment with basic movement and simple routines. In drama, they are encouraged to use their imagination through storytelling, role play, improvisation and confidence-building games — all with an emphasis on participation, not perfection.

Our focus at this age is always on confidence, creativity and enjoyment. Any performances or sharing moments are kept relaxed and low-pressure, allowing children to take part in a way that feels comfortable for them.

​

Mendip Minis is perfect for children who love to sing, move and imagine — and for those who may need a little encouragement to find their voice.

Parents and carers do not need to stay for the class, so students should be comfortable separating from their grown-up and managing their own personal care.
